Five eras of Japan, explored through cinematic chapters, character stories and a moving photo archive.

An archive with a pulse.
Official game footage opens the experience. From there, visitors move through news, trailers, story, characters and locations. Worn paper, mounted photographs and restrained motion give the pages a shared visual language.
The project studies the editorial layout and motion of the Resident Evil Requiem website, adapted to Stranger Than Heaven. The implementation is independently written; the game imagery and footage come from SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.
Follow a character. Find a city.
Seventeen character profiles connect portraits with concise background stories. A five-era timeline moves between the game’s locations, from Kokura in 1915 to Shinjuku in 1965.
The galleries respond to dragging, wheel movement, keyboard controls and direct selection. Each arrow advances one complete card. Official trailers open on request, while chapter navigation keeps every section within reach.

Movement that leaves room to browse.
Combat, adventure and show-business sections pair promotional footage with short introductions. As the next chapter arrives, the previous panel moves back and darkens. Visitors can open a clip for a closer look or move straight to the edition page and official store links.
Lighter video files serve narrow screens. Background footage plays without sound and pauses outside the visible section. Reduced-motion preferences retain the content with quieter transitions.
